Ant Control Services @ Ermones®Household Ants come in a variety of species. Many small ants are
simply considered nuisance pests; however, they can Ant control can be sometimes from difficult to almost impossible. The control of these species is only necessary when they enter into the building. Once they enter into the structure, they become very serious nuisance. Ant control problems usually begin because the ants involved in the infestation have not been properly identified. Ant invade homes, apartments, offices and any structure that has food or available nest sites. Ants eat almost anything. They feed on a wide variety of foods including jellies, honey, shortening, peanut butter, corn syrup, fruit juices, baked goods, soft drinks, greases, dead insects and even shoe polish. Also, some species gnaw holes in silk, rayon and rubber goods. In hospitals, foraging ants have been found in surgical wounds, IV glucose solutions, sealed packs of sterile dressing, soft drinks, water in flower displays and water pitchers. Pharaoh's ant also attracted by the human wounds. Some ant species are capable of mechanically transmitting diseases and contaminating sterile materials. Staphylococcus and Psuedomonas infections, occurring from time to time in hospitals, might be associated with ants. It is important to understand three facts when dealing with ants: 1) They will invade any structure once a food supply or nest site has been found. Do not believe a living area must be "dirty" for ants to infest it. 2) Once they have chosen a structure for nesting or food, simply spraying will not provide control. In fact, many times spraying inside will only cause the problem to get worse! 3) Once you
obtain control, it is suggested that you continue outside treatments from time
to time to insure they do not re-infest the home.

Treatment for ant problems often involves indoor and outdoor applications and can include plants, shrubs, lawns, landscaping as well as the exterior surfaces of buildings. An ant is not exactly a robust insect that easily resists applied insecticides. An ant colony, however, is a totally different problem. You should think of a colony of ants as a single living organism when trying to eliminate an infestation of the insect pest. The "vital organs" of this organism include a queen (or queens), her workers and her nursery. In order to eliminate an infestation you need to attack these vital parts of the colony if you are to be successful. At Ermones® we provide the client with all these possible threats and steps that should be taken. Ermones® Advantage:
